| GDC Kargil Student Secures Second Position in UT-Level Red Run | |
Kargil, September 30 (Scoop News)- Asgar Ali, a B.A. 1st Semester student of Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil, secured second position in the UT-Level Red Run (5 km Road Race) held at the University of Ladakh, Leh Campus.
The event was organised by the Dean Students’ Welfare, University of Ladakh, in collaboration with the J&K AIDS Control Society. The 5 km road race commenced from Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and culminated at the University of Ladakh, Leh Campus.
Mr. Asgar Ali displayed remarkable endurance and determination to secure second position among participants from various institutions across the Union Territory of Ladakh.
A contingent of five boys and five girls from GDC Kargil participated in the event and represented the college with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Principal GDC Kargil, Dr. Amjad Ali Abassi, along with the faculty members and the Department of Physical Education and Sports, congratulated Mr. Asgar Ali on his achievement and appreciated all participating students for their efforts. The college expressed hope that such accomplishments would encourage more students to participate actively in sports and extracurricular activities.
