| ‘Chandi Maa Da Darbar Jana’ echoes devotion and spiritual heritage of J&K: Sat Sharma | | Jammu, August 27 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, along with MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, released the devotional music album “Chandi Maa Da Darbar Jana”, sung by renowned singer Makhan Singh Chahal, at the BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
They were accompanied by J&K BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Convenor of the Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell Narinder Singh, and Cell Co-Convenor Sahil Mahajan, who organized the programme.
Sat Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that devotion is the eternal strength of our society and the spiritual soul of our cultural heritage. He said that Maa Chandi represents Shakti, courage, protection and righteousness, and devotional compositions dedicated to the Divine Mother have the power to awaken faith, inner strength and positive consciousness among people. He appreciated the entire team for presenting the glory of Maa Chandi through music and said that such initiatives connect the younger generation with India’s timeless spiritual traditions. He added that Jammu & Kashmir, blessed with a profound spiritual legacy, has a special responsibility to preserve and promote devotional art, music and traditions.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that music rooted in devotion and spirituality has always played an important role in strengthening social and cultural values. He congratulated the singer and entire creative team, saying that the album dedicated to Maa Chandi carries a message of faith, positivity and spiritual awakening. He expressed hope that the song would receive appreciation from devotees and music lovers alike.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that the album beautifully combines devotion with musical expression and reflects the deep spiritual traditions of Jammu & Kashmir. He congratulated Makhan Singh Chahal and the entire team for their creative initiative.
Narinder Singh said that promoting devotional and folk music is essential for preserving the region’s cultural identity, adding that the Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell will continue to encourage talented artists.
Sahil Mahajan, who organized the programme, said that the initiative was aimed at providing a platform to artists and promoting devotional music among the younger generation.
The lyrics of the song have been penned by Makhan Singh Chahal, while the music has been composed by Kumar Gourav and the video has been created by Rahul Dutta. Makhan Singh Chahal also performed the devotional song in his melodious voice, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The video song was screened before the dignitaries.
Expressing gratitude, Makhan Singh Chahal thanked Sat Sharma, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and all the dignitaries for encouraging his musical endeavour.
