UT Ladakh JSM Coordinator Atulya Bakshi Extends Warm Greetings to Muslim Samaj on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi

Jammu, August 26 (Scoop News)-On the pious and auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, commemorating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), Jammu State Movement (JSM) Coordinator Mr. Atulya Bakshi visited a local Masjid and conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the entire Muslim Samaj.
During his visit, Mr. Bakshi met Advocate Mehmood Rizvi, a prominent lawyer and respected community leader, and extended warm greetings to him as well as to members of the Muslim community on the sacred occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
The visit reflected the spirit of mutual respect, communal harmony and brotherhood that has historically remained an important part of Jammu's social fabric. Mr. Bakshi said that religious festivals and sacred occasions provide an opportunity for people from different communities to come together, exchange goodwill and strengthen the bonds of humanity and mutual understanding.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bakshi said that Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is not merely an occasion of celebration for the Muslim community but also an opportunity for people across society to reflect upon the universal values associated with the teachings and life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He said that the principles of peace, compassion, humanity, justice, equality, brotherhood and respect for fellow human beings continue to hold great relevance in the modern world.
Mr. Bakshi emphasised that at a time when society faces numerous social, political and economic challenges, the need to strengthen harmony and mutual respect has become more important than ever. He said that people must rise above narrow divisions and work collectively for peace, unity and the welfare of society.
“The message associated with the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) inspires humanity to uphold compassion, justice, peace and brotherhood. These values are not confined to any particular community; they are universal principles that can guide every society towards greater harmony and understanding,” Mr. Bakshi said.
He further stated that Jammu has always been known for its composite culture, diversity and traditions of coexistence. People belonging to different religions, communities and backgrounds have shared social and cultural spaces and have contributed collectively to the development and identity of the region.
Mr. Bakshi said that preserving this spirit of unity is a collective responsibility. He noted that Jammu's true strength does not lie merely in its geographical importance or political identity, but in the ability of its people to remain connected through mutual respect and a shared commitment to the welfare of society.
“The diversity of Jammu is its strength. Our different faiths, cultures and traditions should bring us closer and help us understand one another better. Every community is an important part of the social fabric of Jammu, and collective progress is possible only when all sections of society move forward together,” he said.
During his interaction with Advocate Mehmood Rizvi and other members of the Muslim community, Mr. Bakshi extended his sincere wishes for peace, prosperity, happiness and goodwill. He expressed the hope that the sacred occasion would bring blessings to every family and further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among all communities.
Mr. Bakshi also appreciated the contribution of members of the Muslim community towards the social, cultural and economic development of Jammu. He said that the progress of any society depends upon participation, cooperation and mutual trust among all its communities.
The JSM Coordinator reiterated that the Jammu State Movement believes in bringing people together irrespective of religion, caste, community or social background. He said that the organisation remains committed to promoting unity, dignity, justice and the collective welfare of the people of Jammu.
“Our approach must always be inclusive. No society can become strong by creating divisions among its people. Real strength comes from unity, mutual trust and the willingness to stand with one another during both celebrations and challenges,” Mr. Bakshi said.
He further observed that religious occasions often remind society of its moral and humanitarian responsibilities. While traditions and practices may differ, the fundamental values of humanity, compassion and respect remain common across faiths. He said that such shared values should form the foundation for stronger relations among different sections of society.
Mr. Bakshi urged citizens, particularly the younger generation, to contribute towards maintaining communal harmony and peaceful coexistence. He said that the youth of Jammu must recognise diversity as a source of strength and reject attempts to create unnecessary mistrust or division among communities.
“Jammu's future belongs to its young generation. It is therefore important that our youth grow up with values of mutual respect, tolerance and brotherhood. They must understand that the progress and prosperity of Jammu depend upon unity among its people,” he said.
He added that people should celebrate each other's important occasions and share moments of happiness, as such gestures strengthen human relationships and promote a culture of understanding.
The interaction between Mr. Atulya Bakshi and Advocate Mehmood Rizvi was marked by cordiality and mutual respect. Mr. Bakshi conveyed his special greetings to Advocate Rizvi and acknowledged his standing and contribution as a respected member of the community.
Mr. Bakshi said, “On this sacred occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, I extend my respectful greetings and heartfelt best wishes to Advocate Mehmood Rizvi and our entire Muslim Samaj. May the timeless message of peace, compassion, brotherhood, justice and humanity continue to inspire all of us to work together for a harmonious, united and prosperous Jammu.”
He further prayed that the holy occasion brings peace, happiness, prosperity and goodwill to every household and strengthens the bonds of fraternity among the people.
The JSM Coordinator concluded by reiterating that Jammu can achieve greater social progress only through collective effort and unity. He said that people must continue to respect each other's religious beliefs and cultural traditions while working together for the common good.
“Let us use every sacred occasion as an opportunity to strengthen human bonds and reaffirm our commitment to peace and harmony. Jammu belongs to all its people, and its future will be stronger when every community feels respected, valued and included in the journey of progress,” Mr. Bakshi stated.
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, Mr. Atulya Bakshi once again extended his warmest greetings to Advocate Mehmood Rizvi, members of the Muslim Samaj and all those celebrating the occasion, with the hope that the message of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) continues to guide society towards compassion, justice, peace and universal brotherhood.
