| Hakeem Yaseen greets people on Eid Milad (SAW) | | says Prophet’s (SAW) teachings guide humanity |
Srinagar, August 25 (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Front (PDF) President and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), urging them to reflect upon the life, teachings and message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In his message, Hakeem said Eid Milad-un-Nabi is a significant occasion for Muslims across the world as it provides an opportunity to remember the exemplary life and noble teachings of the Prophet (SAW). He said the occasion should inspire people to strengthen their commitment to truth, justice, compassion, brotherhood and peaceful coexistence.
“Eid Milad-un-Nabi reminds us of the timeless message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), whose life remains a source of guidance for humanity. His teachings emphasised compassion, equality, justice, forgiveness and respect for every human being,” Hakeem said.
PDF president said the real significance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) lies not merely in observing the occasion through religious gatherings, but in incorporating the Prophet’s (SAW) teachings into daily life. He urged people to show kindness towards the poor, needy, elderly and other vulnerable sections of society.
Hakeem also called upon the younger generation to learn from the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his qualities of honesty, humility, patience, compassion and commitment to justice. He said these values can play an important role in building a responsible, peaceful and inclusive society.
He appealed to people to celebrate the auspicious occasion with religious devotion and dignity while maintaining communal harmony and respecting the sentiments of people belonging to all faiths.
Hakeem said Jammu and Kashmir has a long tradition of communal harmony and peaceful coexistence and called upon people to preserve and strengthen this tradition. He stressed the need for collective efforts to promote brotherhood, tolerance and mutual respect in society.
He also urged the administration and civil society to ensure that adequate arrangements are made for devotees visiting mosques and other religious places on the occasion.
The PDF president prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed hope that the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi would bring happiness, harmony and prosperity to every household and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the people.
