DC Sham Reviews Army-Related Land Cases in Sham District


Khaltse, August 08 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), today convened a review meeting to assess the status of Army-related land cases in Sham District at the DC Conference Hall, Khaltse.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed various land-related matters concerning the Army and discussed issues requiring coordination among the civil administration, revenue authorities and the concerned Army authorities. She stressed the need for timely examination while ensuring that land records are properly verified and all actions are taken in accordance with the relevant rules, regulations and established procedures.

The meeting was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Mohd. Sharif; Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Liker, Gurmet Namgail; Tehsildar Saspol, Tanveer Ahmed; Lt. Col. J. S. Hanspal, Administrative Commandant, Station Headquarters Biama; Maj. Savindra Singh, Headquarters 402 (I) Artillery Brigade, Nurla; Pradeep Dutt,SDO-I, Deepak Kumar,SDO-II (DEO Leh),Naib Tehsildars of Wanla and Skurbuchan; Readers to SDMs; OQ Tehsil Saspol and Khaltse; and concerned JCOs.

During the meeting, the SDMs of Khaltse and Liker, along with the Tehsildar Saspol, briefed the Deputy Commissioner on various Army-related land cases falling within their respective jurisdictions. They apprised the meeting of the status of pending matters and highlighted issues requiring further verification, coordination and necessary action.

The DC emphasized that all matters should be dealt with in a systematic and transparent manner, with due verification of records and strict adherence to prescribed procedures. The meeting concluded with a commitment from all concerned authorities to work in close coordination for the timely and effective resolution of Army-related land issues in Sham District.
