Administration asleep while Kashmiri Pandit Families Suffer Under Leaking Roofs
BJP Slams Official Apathy at Nagrota TRT Camp

Jammu, July 31 (Scoop News)-The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly criticized the administration over the alleged neglect of Kashmiri Pandit families living in the Nagrota Transit Relief and Temporary (TRT) Camp, where residents continue to endure severe hardships due to leaking roofs and poor living conditions.

BJP leaders accused the authorities of displaying complete apathy despite repeated complaints from camp residents. They said that during the ongoing monsoon season, water seepage and damaged roofs have made life extremely difficult for several families, exposing them to health and safety risks.

The party alleged that the administration has failed to address basic infrastructure problems in the camp, leaving displaced families to suffer in silence. BJP representatives demanded immediate repair of the damaged residential units, improved sanitation and drainage facilities, and a comprehensive assessment of the camp’s infrastructure.

Calling the situation “deeply unfortunate,” the BJP urged the government and district administration to take urgent corrective measures and ensure that Kashmiri Pandit families are provided with safe and dignified living conditions.

The party warned that continued official indifference toward the grievances of displaced families was unacceptable and called for accountability from the concerned authorities.
