Pulwama, July 18 (Scoop News)-The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (DJMC), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), was felicitated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, on Saturday at Pulwama, in recognition of its contributions to media education and social awareness initiatives.
The certificate of appreciation, presented by Dr. Ramdas Bandu Athawale, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, commends the department's “outstanding efforts and impactful initiatives,” particularly its street play “News or Noise”, which promoted public understanding of journalism and media literacy.
