| Ashok Koul calls for stronger digital outreach, grassroots coordination | |
Jammu, July 17 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul chaired a series of organizational meetings at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, and the BJP Office, Kachi Chawni, Jammu, reviewing the party's functioning and discussing strategies to further strengthen the organization from the grassroots to the digital platform.
Koul first chaired a meeting of the District Incharges of the BJP Social Media Department at the party headquarters. The meeting focused on enhancing digital outreach, ensuring effective coordination among district social media teams, and strengthening the party's presence across various online platforms. J&K BJP Vice-President Rekha Mahajan, Social Media Department Incharge Dr. Makson Tickoo, Co-Incharges Naveen Sharma and Lovisha Gupta attended the meeting.
Later, Koul addressed a meeting of the District Kashmir Displaced Team at the BJP Office, Kachi Chawni, where organizational activities were reviewed and discussions were held on improving coordination and public outreach. District President KDD Rajeev Pandita, Seh-Prabhari Hira Lal Bhat, and other senior leaders were present.
Subsequently, Koul presided over the monthly meeting of the District Team, Jammu South, at the BJP Headquarters. The meeting reviewed organizational affairs and finalized preparations for upcoming party programmes aimed at strengthening booth-level functioning and expanding public engagement. J&K BJP General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, Prabhari Jammu South Pradhuman Singh, District President Naresh Singh, and MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa also participated.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meetings, emphasized that a strong organization is built through continuous communication, disciplined teamwork, and active public outreach. He asked party functionaries to remain in constant touch with the people, effectively publicize the achievements and welfare initiatives of the Narendra Modi-led government, and ensure that every organizational programme is implemented with dedication at the booth level. He stressed that social media has emerged as a powerful medium to counter misinformation and connect directly with the masses, asking cadre to use digital platforms responsibly and effectively.
Rekha Mahajan said that the Social Media Department plays a crucial role in taking the party's ideology, achievements, and public welfare initiatives to every household. She asked district teams to remain proactive, creative, and fact-based while engaging with people on digital platforms.
Baldev Singh Billawaria said that regular organizational reviews help strengthen coordination among party workers and ensure the effective implementation of party programmes at every level. He asked leaders to maintain close contact with the public and work with dedication to further expand the party's reach.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa highlighted the importance of a strong grassroots organization in addressing public concerns and ensuring effective implementation of development initiatives.
