| J&K Branch (NIRC) of ICAI Celebrates 78th CA Day with Flag Hoisting | | Blood Donation Drive and Social Welfare Initiatives | 
Jammu, July 01 (Scoop News)-The Jammu & Kashmir Branch (NIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India celebrated the 78th CA Day at ICAI Bhawan, Canal Road, Jammu with a series of professional, social and welfare-oriented activities.
The programme commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony at the Branch premises, followed by a Blood Donation Drive organised in association with GMC Jammu. A Free Health Checkup Camp was also conducted by Sedna Super Speciality Hospital, where participants were provided basic health screening and medical guidance.
The event was graced by Sh. Sat Sharma, CA, Hon’ble Member Parliament, Rajya Sabha, as the Chief Guest. He also inaugurated the newly installed lift at ICAI Bhawan, marking an important infrastructural addition to the Branch premises.
As part of the CA Day celebrations, the Branch also conducted a Swachh Bharat activity and organised visits to an Old Age Home and Gaushala, reflecting the profession’s commitment towards service, compassion and community welfare. Breakfast was served to the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, the Branch leadership stated that CA Day is not only a celebration of the Chartered Accountancy profession but also an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to society through initiatives focused on health, service and social responsibility.
The programme was organised under the leadership of CA Amit Gupta, Chairman, along with CA Jatin Malhotra, Vice Chairman, CA Sanchit Aggarwal, Secretary, CA Ayush Mahajan, Treasurer, CA Sourav Pargal, Immediate Past Chairman, and CA Ayush Sawhney, Executive Member of J&K Branch (NIRC) of ICAI.
