| Annual Bhandara held at Baba Budh Giri Ji Ashram Behramgala; DC joins devotees | | Poonch, June 22 (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today visited the revered Baba Budh Giri Ji Ashram at Behramgala, Surankote, where he participated in the Annual Bhandara and performed Havan.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Sandeep Wazir; SSP Shafket Hussain Bhat; SDM, Farooq Khan, Tehsildar Ashfaq Hussain and other district officers from police and administration.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with members of the Ashram Committee and devotees. He congratulated the organizers for the successful conduct of the annual religious gathering. He appreciated their efforts in preserving the sanctity, traditions and spiritual significance of the event.
The Ashram Committee apprised the Deputy Commissioner about various developmental requirements, demanding construction of a Langer Shed, approach road to the Mandir and other facilities for the convenience of pilgrims.
The Deputy Commissioner assured that the district administration is committed to addressing genuine public demands and strengthening infrastructure at the religious sites. He emphasized that every possible support would be extended to ensure a safe, comfortable and smooth experience for devotees visiting the Ashram from Poonch and adjoining areas.
