| LG flags off Shobha Yatra to commemorate Bhagwan Parshuram Ji Jayanti in Jammu | | 
Jammu, April 17 (Scoop News)-Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Friday flagged off a grand Shobha Yatra from Chanakya Chowk Parade, Jammu, to commemorate Bhagwan Parshuram Ji Jayanti.
The procession was organized by the Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, celebrating the life and teachings of Bhagwan Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Earlier, the Lieutenant Governor paid obeisance to Bhagwan Parshuram and prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity for one and all.
Shri Ved Prakash Sharma, President Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha,and members of organising committee including Shri Parshotam Chander Sharma, Shri Chander Mohan Sharma, Shri Soujanya Sharma, Shri Surinder Sharma,Shri B D Sharma, Er Rajesh and Shri Raman Sharma; heads of religious organizations, prominent citizens and people from different walks of life attended the flag off ceremony.
Shri Yudhvir Sethi and Ms Devyani Rana, Members of Legislative Assembly; senior officials and prominent citizens were also present.
