Police organises awareness & interactive debate on New Criminal Laws in Pulwama

Srinagar, April 04 (Scoop News)- Police in Pulwama organised an awareness programme on the New Criminal Laws (Nyaya Sanhita) at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Pulwama.

The programme witnessed active participation of more than 100 students along with members of the teaching faculty. During the session, police officials briefed the participants about the salient features of the newly introduced criminal laws, emphasising their role in ensuring justice, safety, and accountability in society. An interactive debate session formed a key highlight of the programme, wherein students actively shared their perspectives and engaged in meaningful discussions on legal reforms.

The initiative was aimed at empowering young minds with legal awareness and encouraging them to become responsible and informed citizens. The school administration appreciated the efforts of J&K Police for organising such an informative programme.

J&K Police reiterate its commitment to continue such outreach initiatives to promote legal literacy and strengthen police-public relations.
