Teli Urged party workers to gear up for the upcoming Panchayat and ULB elections

Jammu, April 02 (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chairman, OBC Cell, Abdul Gani Teli strongly criticized the BJP-led Central Government “false and hollow promises,” alleging that the concerns of OBCs and weaker sections in Jammu and Kashmir have been consistently ignored.

Addressing a workers’ meeting at Bari Brahmana, organized by Vikas Bamotra, Senior Vice President, District Samba OBC Cell, Mr. Teli said that the previous BJP government had failed to fulfill its commitments, particularly in generating employment opportunities and ensuring welfare for OBC communities in the region. He emphasized that the BJP’s assurances have not translated into tangible benefits for the people, especially those belonging to marginalized sections.

Highlighting the vision of the Omar Abdullah-led government, Teli reiterated the National Conference’s unwavering commitment to an inclusive, progressive, and people-centric governance model. He stressed that the government remains focused on ensuring balanced development, safeguarding cultural diversity, and promoting social justice across all regions and communities.

Mr. Teli also urged party workers to gear up for the upcoming Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections. He called upon them to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and work collectively to ensure the National Conference’s outreach and connection with the common people.

Among others who were present in the meeting included: Nar Singh President Labor Wing, YashPal Verma District President Samba OBC Cell, Puran Chand, Kamal Kumar, Ganga Ram, Ashok Kumar, Madan Lal and others.
