Srinagar, March 28 (Scoop News)- In a continued effort to combat drug abuse and raise awareness among the public, Police organised a Drug Awareness Rally in Anantnag. The rally commenced from Wazir Bagh Anantnag, proceeded to Lal Chowk Anantnag, and culminated back at Wazir Bagh.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various schools across District Anantnag, members of civil society, and senior police officers and officials. Participants carried placards and raised slogans highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society.
Senior officers of Police, while addressing the participants, emphasized the growing concern of substance abuse and reiterated the commitment of the police to eradicate this menace from society.
Police remains steadfast in its mission to safeguard the future of the youth and appeals to the general public to cooperate and support efforts in building a drug-free society.
