| Enterprising Ladakh marked its first appearance at the 7th Edition of Enchanting Ladakh | |
Leh,February 07 (Scoop News)-Enterprising Ladakh is an initliative of Ms. Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Union Territory of Ladakh Implemented under the vision of Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (ED).
11 different brands developed under Enterprising Ladakh displayed their wares as part of this program
Ranging from participants from different colleges of Ladakh, unriversity, and ITIs, as well as young people, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and seasoned business owners, created these goods. They were given the chance to gain access to markets at the national level.
The diversity of products on display, which included 3D models, crocheted goods, Khataks, Ladakhi cookies, sheep-wool products, regionally made cakes, sea buckthorn products, and traditional Zanskar ghee, demonstrated Ladakh's varied entrepreneurial possibilities.
Two students also had the chance to actively take part in the event, which strengthened their practical entrepreneurship abilities by providing them with firsthand experience in marketing, customer service, and product sales.
The involvement is an important step in supporting local businesses, encouraging entrepreneurship, and enhancing national market connections for goods originating from Ladakh.
