| J&K Police holds security review meeting ahead of Republic Day-2026 in Baramulla | |
Srinagar, January 20 (Scoop News)- J&K Police in Baramulla held a comprehensive security review meeting at the Conference Hall, District Police Lines Baramulla, ahead of the forthcoming Republic Day Celebrations-2026. The meeting was chaired by SSP Baramulla.
Senior officers of the Army, BSF, CRPF, SSB, CISF, intelligence agencies, along with all GOs, SHOs and IC PPs of district police attended the meeting. Detailed deliberations were held on security arrangements, inter-agency coordination, deployment strategies, intelligence sharing, and preparedness to ensure peaceful and incident-free Republic Day Celebrations-26 across the district.
Emphasis was laid on area domination, enhanced vigilance, strengthening of nakas, anti-sabotage measures, quick response mechanisms, and close coordination among all security agencies. All concerned were directed to remain alert and maintain a high level of preparedness.
The meeting concluded with consensus to adhere to the finalized security plan to ensure public safety and smooth conduct of Republic Day Celebrations.
