| J&K Police recovers significant quantity of contraband substance from residential house in Shopian | |
Srinagar,January 09 (Scoop News)-In its continued crackdown against drug menace, J&K Police in Shopian recovered a significant quantity of contraband substance from residential house in Barbugh Imamsahib and arrested the accused person.
Acting on specific information, Police Station Imamsahib registered a case under FIR No. 02/2026 of NDPS Act and obtained a search warrant from the competent authority. A team from Police Station Imamsahib accompanied by the Tehsildar Barbugh raided the residential premises of Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday resident of Barbugh. During the search, 20.720 Kgs of cannabis & 130 grams charas like substance was recovered from residential house. The accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
