Jammu students head to Gujarat for National Integration Camp

Jammu, December 27 (Scoop News)- A team of the School Education Department today flagged off Jammu students for participation in the 26th Rashtra Katha Shivir, being organized by the Shri Vedic Mission Trust at village Pransala, Upleta in Rajkot district, Gujarat.

The flag-off ceremony took place at Teacher Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, where the students were dispatched to Gujarat in multiple batches. The first batch, comprising 45 students and 3 escort teachers, departed on December 25, 2025, followed by the second batch of 77 students and 4 escort teachers on December 26, 2025. The third and final batch, consisting of 85 students and 4 escort teachers, was flagged off today. In total, 207 students, accompanied by 11 escort teachers, are representing Jammu at this prestigious national-level camp.

During the send-off, the mentors highlighted the significance of such exposure programmes in fostering national integration, social and religious harmony besides overall personality development. The students were encouraged to seize this opportunity to imbibe new values, broaden their perspectives and cherish lifelong memories.

Comprehensive arrangements have been put in place to ensure the participants' comfort and well-being throughout the programme, including arrangements for boarding and lodging.

The 26th Rashtra Katha Shivir aims to nurture youth by strengthening moral values, cultural understanding and leadership skills through motivational and value-based sessions.
