BJP leaders pay rich tributes to Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji on his 56th Death Anniversary


Miran Sahib (Jammu), December 27 (Scoop News)- The 56th Death Anniversary of Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji was observed with great reverence and devotion at Miran Sahib, Jammu, in a programme organized by the Mahasha Sudhaar Sabha.

J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, accompanied by BJP National Secretary & MLA Dr. Narinder Singh, MLAs Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, former MLC Vibodh Gupta, District Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, DDC members Vidhya Mottan and Balbir, along with several senior BJP leaders and workers paid tributes to Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji on the occasion.

Leaders and members of the Mahasha Sudhaar Sabha, including Working President Bishan Dass, Sabhapati Adv. Bodh Raj Rao, Working Sabhapati Col. Som Nath Dogra (Retd.), Capt. Som Dutt (Retd.), Halqa President Surinder Kalotra, Cashier Jasbir Kumar, Pt. Sham Lal and others, actively participated in the programme. Floral tributes were paid to Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji, and various essential goods were distributed among the needy, reflecting the saint’s lifelong message of service and compassion.

Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma said that Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji was a towering spiritual figure who dedicated his entire life to the welfare of society and upliftment of the downtrodden. He said that Baba Ji’s simple living, selfless service, and deep spiritual wisdom continue to inspire generations. Such saints strengthen the moral and social fabric of society by guiding people towards righteousness, harmony, and service to humanity. Remembering Baba Ji is a reminder to work for social unity and the welfare of the poor, Sat Sharma said.

Dr. Narinder Singh highlighted that Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji showed a strong inclination towards fakiri from a very young age. He said Baba Ji devoted his life to serving the needy without any discrimination and became a symbol of faith and hope for the people, especially in the RS Pura area where he spent most of his life.

Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that the life of Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji was full of spiritual experiences that strengthened people’s belief in divine power and truth. He emphasized that Baba Ji’s teachings of compassion, humility, and selfless service are highly relevant in today’s materialistic world.

Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat said that Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji, who left for his heavenly abode in 1969, possessed great godly and supernatural powers and was revered across communities. He added that such spiritual personalities play a crucial role in promoting social harmony, brotherhood, and moral values.

Representatives of the Mahasha Sudhaar Sabha expressed their gratitude and said that the Sabha has been consistently working to preserve and propagate the spiritual, social, and humanitarian legacy of Baba Ji. The Sabha representatives emphasized that such annual observances help in inspiring the younger generation to follow the path of selfless service, social harmony, and compassion shown by Mahatma Baba Buta Ram Ji.
