| Nation forever indebted to Sahibzadas’ supreme sacrifice: Sat Sharma | | Jammu, December 22 (Scoop News)-A review meeting regarding the programmes to be organized on Veer Baal Diwas was chaired by Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, and Rajya Sabha MP, at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP Vice-President Rashpaul Verma, general secretary Gopal Mahajan, senior leader & former MLA Ashwani Sharma, President, Minority Morcha, J&K BJP S. Ranjodh Singh Nalwa and others were present in the meeting.
Morcha General Secretary Advocate Jasmeet Kour Pandey, Prithpal Singh Raju, Pawanjeet Singh and Surjeet Singh, Harvinder Singh Vickey, Gurdeep Singh, Parvez Malik, Jasmeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh Rockey, and others were also present.
Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma emphasized the unparalleled bravery and supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzadas, the sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, whose martyrdom remains an eternal testament to courage, faith and devotion to dharma. He said that Veer Baal Diwas is not merely a date on the calendar but a profound reminder of the extraordinary courage displayed by Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh Ji, who, despite their tender ages, chose martyrdom over relinquishing their faith, a sacrifice that has no parallel in world history.
Sharma stated that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation now collectively honors this supreme sacrifice every year on 26 December, a step that brings the inspiring story of the Sahibzadas into the national consciousness and motivates young Indians to uphold the values of courage, integrity and self-less service. He said that the BJP remains deeply committed to celebrating the historical significance of Veer Baal Diwas, not only as a remembrance of sacrifice but as a living example of the values that define India’s cultural and moral heritage. He added that the nation will always remain indebted to the indomitable spirit of these young martyrs whose sacrifice laid down a timeless message of resilience and righteousness.
S. Ranjodh Singh Nalwa called upon community members and youth to participate actively in the commemorations and to draw enduring inspiration from the Sahibzadas’ supreme courage and steadfast devotion. He shared that the principal programme will be held at Gurudwara Sahib Yadhgar Mahant Bachiter Singh at Bahu Fort on Friday, 26 December, with scheduled proceedings from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
