Police Organises Awareness Programme and Drawing Competition In Anantnag


Srinagar, December 19 (Scoop News)- Police in Anantnag have organized a comprehensive Drug Awareness Programme at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Latroo Ashmuqam, aimed at educating students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free society.

The programme was addressed by senior Police officers of district police Anantang, who shared valuable insights, real-life experiences, and guidance with the students, emphasizing the importance of making informed and responsible life choices. The speakers encouraged students to act as ambassadors of awareness within their communities.

In addition to the awareness session, a Drawing and Painting Competition was also organized on the same day under the Civic Action Programme. Around 300 students from 15 different schools participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity and artistic skills on themes related to drug abuse prevention and social responsibility.

The programme concluded smoothly, reinforcing the commitment of Police towards community engagement, youth empowerment, and the fight against drug abuse.
