Shangluo, China,December 11 (Scoop News)-The Indian Boys’ Under-15 Volleyball Team has scripted a historic chapter in the annals of Indian school sports by securing a semi-final berth in its debut appearance at the ISE Under-15 World School Volleyball Championship in Shangluo, China. This unprecedented achievement, accomplished under the banner of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), has captured the attention of the global sporting enthusiasts.

Demonstrating exceptional skill, formidable team spirit, and remarkable composure, the Indian squad dominated the group stage with commanding victories over strong teams from Chile and host nation China. The team’s ability to overcome significant challenges in height and power was particularly notable. His foundational training was honed under the expert guidance of coaches from the J&K Department of Youth Services and Sports, followed by intensive preparation at the national camp.
The team’s historic semi-final qualification marks a revolutionary step for Indian school sports on the global stage. This inaugural official participation in the prestigious championship, which has been held since 1972, was made possible through the concerted support of the SGFI leadership, the Ministry of Sports, and the Sports Authority of India.
