| Defence minister Rajnath Singh Inaugurates Hanulungpa Bridge | | 
Khaltse, December 08 (KIP)- Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh, virtually inaugurated the Hanulungpa Bridge—one among the 125 infrastructure projects—on the Khaltse–Batalik road near Hydropower House Hanu, yesterday on 7th December. The event was graced by the Commanding Officer, 96 Field Regiment, Col. Manoj Yadav; Sub Divisional Magistrate, Khaltse, Mohd Sharif; and the OIC GREF, Omkar Nath.
Constructed under Project Vijayak by 16 BRTF, 81 RCC, BRO , the Hanulungpa Bridge is a 35-metre steel superstructure. Work commenced in 2023 and was successfully completed in 2025, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the region’s connectivity.
The inauguration ceremony began with a traditional Pooja performed by Pandit Ji. Village representatives and local residents participated in the event and extended a warm and traditional welcome.
