LSSSSB conducts Matriculation Level Examination smoothly across Ladakh

Leh, December 07 (Scoop News)- The Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) successfully conducted its first-ever Matriculation Level Examination today in a smooth, transparent, and orderly manner across the Union Territory.

The examination was conducted at 19 centres set up in the district headquarters of Leh and Kargil. A total of 3,584 candidates appeared for the examination from both districts, reflecting strong participation and enthusiasm among aspirants.

The Matriculation Level Examination for 99 posts requiring a minimum qualification of Matriculation was conducted as advertised in the last week of July 2025.

To ensure seamless conduct, LSSSSB deployed adequate supervisors and invigilators at each centre. Their coordinated efforts, combined with the support of the respective district administrations, ensured efficient management of all examination-related arrangements.

The Chairman, LSSSSB, Dr. Pawan Kotwal visited examination centre at Ladakh Public School to nspect the examination processes.

The Secretary, LSSSSB, Dr. Zahida Banoo along staff of LSSSSB also visited multiple examination centres to monitor arrangements, review the examination process, and ensure strict adherence to all guidelines and protocols.

LSSSSB extended its appreciation to all stakeholders—including district administrations, examination staff, and candidates—for their cooperation in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the Matriculation Level Examination 2025.

To uphold confidentiality and maintain the credibility of the examination system, sealed boxes containing question papers and examination materials were dispatched from the Strong Room early in the morning under magistrate supervision and police escort. After the examination, all materials were securely transported back to the Strong Room following the same strict protocol, ensuring transparency and integrity at every stage.

A dedicated examination centre for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates was set up ensuring accessible, inclusive, and supportive facilities for all eligible aspirants.
