| Pakistan’s Attempts to Misguide Young Minds Are Failing | | Kashmir’s Children Now Choose Progress, Technology and Peace: Khatana |
Ganderbal, November 26 (Scoop News)-Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and senior BJP leader Gulam Ali Khatana said that “Pakistan’s attempts to misguide the young minds of Kashmir are failing, as the children of the Valley are now choosing progress, technology and peace.” He added that even after the recent Pahalgam incidents, Pakistan continues its efforts to pollute young minds, but Kashmiri youth have given a strong reply through their maturity, awareness and commitment to education and development. “Our youth will not fall into Pakistan’s trap. They are disciplined, innovative and determined to build a peaceful and technologically advanced future,” he said while addressing the ‘Robotics and Management Technology’ programme at J&K Sainik School Manasbal.
Khatana urged the students to reduce mobile and screen time, warning that excessive phone usage weakens discipline, affects creativity and distracts them from productive learning. He encouraged the cadets to dedicate more time to robotics, innovation, physical activities and real-life skill-building, and to stay away from harmful online influence. He praised the students’ creativity, technical understanding and enthusiasm, noting that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Jammu & Kashmir is witnessing rapid growth in digital empowerment, youth development and education reforms. He assured full support for strengthening academic infrastructure, skill development programmes and future-oriented initiatives in the region.
Students showcased impressive robotic models, innovation projects and technology demonstrations, highlighting the school’s growing emphasis on futuristic learning. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the school authorities, who appreciated Khatana’s continuous support and guidance. They also requested an Atal Tinkering Lab and an ambulance for the institution, to which Khatana assured full cooperation and necessary follow-up.
After the programme, Khatana also visited the JK DAG Computer Institute Nagbal, Ganderbal, where he interacted with trainees and faculty members. He appreciated the institute’s efforts in expanding digital literacy, computer education and employability-driven training among local youth. He said that such institutions are vital for creating a skilled and confident generation prepared for the modern workforce. Khatana encouraged the students to make full use of the training opportunities and assured support for expanding digital and vocational learning facilities in the area.
