| SRS Urges Union Home Minister to Verify Background of Surrendered Militants in Government Jobs | |
Jammu, November 23 (Scoop News)-Shri Ram Sena (SRS) President Rajiv Mahajan has urged the Union Home Minister to immediately order a comprehensive verification of surrendered militants appointed in various Government departments.
SRS has demanded a thorough investigation into the assets of such individuals—from the time of their surrender to the present day. The organisation has called for scrutiny of lockers, movable and immovable properties, and assets held in the names of their close relatives and associates.
Citing a past incident in which a doctor was found keeping an AK-47 rifle in his locker, Shri Ram Sena warned that such cases pose a grave threat to national security. It stressed that similar risks must not be overlooked, emphasizing that the safety of the nation should remain paramount.
The organisation has appealed to the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure strict verification, transparency, and accountability so that no anti-national elements misuse Government positions or compromise public safety.
