| Commissioner Secretary Bhupesh Choudhury visits SIDCO Office Kargil | |
Kargil, November 08 (Scoop News)-Commissioner Secretary and Managing Director, SIDCO, UT of Ladakh, Shri Bhupesh Choudhury, IAS, visited the SIDCO Office, Kargil today. The visit was attended by officials of SIDCO and ARTO Kargil.
During the visit, the worthy MD inspected various ongoing official works of SIDCO Kargil and took stock of the office premises, including the SIDCO Yard, Cement Store, Weighing Bridge, and the old building within the vicinity.
Subsequently, the worthy MD convened a detailed meeting with SIDCO officials, wherein the team presented a visual briefing on the ongoing loan disbursement process under various schemes implemented by SIDCO Kargil.
During the meeting, Shri Choudhury instructed the District Manager, SIDCO Kargil, to coordinate with the Executive Engineer, R&B Kargil, for the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) concerning the maintenance of the yard, road, and office building.
He also directed the officials to expedite the ongoing loan disbursement process and emphasized the need for timely execution of the next phase of loan distribution. Furthermore, the MD advised the District Manager to propose the establishment of a petrol pump at a suitable vacant plot in Kargil to cater to local industrial and logistical requirements.
