| DC Nubra Organises National Unity March to Commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel | |
Diskit, October31 (Scoop News)-To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Government Degree College (GDC) Nubra organised a National Unity March from Diskit Market to Gyalwa Chamba Statue as part of the nationwide celebration titled “150 Years of Unity – Walk for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.”
Students, faculty, and staff of GDC Nubra actively participated in the march to honour the legacy of Sardar Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India, whose leadership played a pivotal role in uniting the country’s diverse princely states into one nation.
Led by Principal Sh. Rigzin Sandup, the participants also took the Atmanirbhar Bharat pledge, reaffirming their commitment to national unity, strength, and self-reliance.
The event aimed to rekindle the spirit of unity, collective harmony, and national integration that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel championed throughout his life.
