| CEC LAHDC Kargil Dr. Jaffer Akhoon Inspects Ongoing Works at Ladakh Bhawan Kargil Wing, New Delhi | |
New Delhi, October 15 (Scoop News)-The Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohammad Jaffer Akhoon, today visited the Ladakh Bhawan Kargil Wing located at Plot No. HAF-2, Sector 18A, Dwarka Phase II, Opposite Engineers Apartment, New Delhi, to review the progress of ongoing construction works.
During the inspection, Dr. Akhoon was accompanied by the Superintendent Engineer, CPWD; Executive Engineer, CPWD; Assistant Engineers (Civil and Electrical), CPWD; Assistant Engineer, PWD (R&B) Kargil; and the project contractor.
The Hon’ble CEC expressed satisfaction over the pace and quality of work being executed and directed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion of the project while maintaining all prescribed quality standards. The building project has entered its final stage and is expected to be completed and handed over by the executing agency by December 15, 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Akhoon stated that the facility, once commissioned, will serve as an important administrative and residential hub for the people of Kargil visiting the national capital. He added that the project stands as a symbol of the Government of Ladakh and LAHDC Kargil’s commitment to enhancing connectivity, accessibility, and infrastructure for the citizens.
