Police organises Tiranga Rallies in various districts

Srinagar, August 12 (Scoop News)-In a vibrant display of patriotism, unity and national spirit, J&K Police organises Tiranga rallies in various districts including Ganderbal, Handwara and Awantipora.

In Ganderbal, the grand rally was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS, from Manigam and culminated at the scenic Manasbal Lake, covering several key locations en-route. Participants proudly carried the Tricolour, spreading the message of unity, peace, and love for the nation among the masses. Hundreds of riders, including senior police officers, Jawans and enthusiastic youth from different parts of the district, took part in the rally. The rally received a warm welcome from the public at various points along the route, with people waving flags and joining in patriotic songs. The event concluded at Manasbal, where participants pledged to uphold the values of freedom, brotherhood, and national harmony.

In Handwara, the rally was jointly flagged off by SSP Handwara, Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhury-JKPS and Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara from Boys Higher Secondary School Handwara. The colourful procession passed through prominent locations including Chowdary Gali, Jamia Qadeem, Main Chowk Handwara, ZEO Office Khunbal, Yateem Trust Link Road, Police Station Handwara, and culminated back at the Boys Higher Secondary School. Senior officers from Police, Civil Administration, the Education Department, and various other departments actively participated in the event. Hundreds of students, police personnel, and members of the civil society joined the rally, proudly waving the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride.

In Awantipora, Police organised a Mega Tiranga Bike Rally in Pampore. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the SDPO Pampore, SHO Pampore and officers from various line departments and a large number of students, and civil society members. The bike rally commenced from the Galander Crossing Pampore and culminated at Police Station Pampore with participants carrying the tricolour and raising spirited slogans in honour of the nation.

Speaking on the occasion, officers highlighted the importance of such events in fostering a sense of togetherness, national pride, and communal harmony. They lauded the collaborative effort of all stakeholders in making the rally a grand success.
