| Student Induction Program for New Batch continues at IUST | |
Awantipora, August 06 (Scoop News)- The induction programme organized jointly by the Dean Academic Affairs, Dean Students and DIQA is aimed at welcoming the students and helping them transition to the University familiarizing them with the different aspects of University life. Different sessions have been curated to introduce students to the university’s academic framework, student support system, grievance redressal, ERP system, institutional statutes focusing on anti ragging, POSH among other aspects of organizational ethos. A series of interactive sessions involving key university officials including Prof. Ayaz Hassan Moon, Dean Academic Affairs; Controller of Examinations; Director IT & SS Director DIQA; Dean of Students; Director of Physical Education and Sports; Provost, Dean Outreach; Coordinators of NCC, NSS, Cultural Coordinator; and representatives from industry and the alumni network engage the students.
The two-week program also features special cultural and sports activities designed to foster camaraderie and community spirit among the freshers exposing them to vibrant campus culture besides encouraging them for active participation in extracurricular pursuits.
