| Azad dispatched relief material for Poonch | | Jammu, May 17 (Scoop News)-Ghulam Nabi Azad, President of Gandhi Global Family (GGF), Former Chief Minister of J&K, and Former Union Minister, today virtually dispatched a relief material consignment for families affected by Pakistani shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
The aid, organized by the GGF Women Wing Jammu, includes sanitary pads for women, biscuits and sports items for children. The consignment was symbolically handed over by Dr. Alka Sharma, President, GGF Women Wing Jammu, to Dr. Nitan Sharma, Regional General Secretary, GGF Jammu. The event witnessed the presence of senior women representatives including Summi Sahi Seth, Dr. Parvinder Kour, Renu Anthony, Joginder Kour, and Punit Kour, along with volunteers Dr. Jyoti Malhotra, Dr. Himani Butyal, Vasundhara, Mr. Avinash (President, Border Welfare Organization), and Nirvair Singh Bali.
Mr. Azad commended the initiative of GGF Jammu Women Wing and urged GGF Kashmir to extend similar aid to affected families of Baramulla and Kupwara.
