Dr. Dinesh Gupta Assumes Charge as Honorary Secretary of Home for Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla, Jammu | | Jammu, May 14 (Scoop News)-Srinagar, Jammu, May 14 (Scoop News)- On relinquishing the charge by Shri Vijay Bhagotra after serving selflessly for 22 years as Honorary Secretary of the Home for Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla, Jammu. Dr. Dinesh Gupta, a distinguished social worker and community leader, has been appointed as the Honorary Secretary of the Home for Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla, Jammu. He formally assumed charge today in the presence of Life Time Achievement Awardee Shri I.D. Soni, President of the Managing Committee; Shri Vijay Gupta, Joint Secretary; and Members Shri Pankaj Gupta, Shri Satpal Sharma, and Shri R.C. Vaid. Dr. Gupta brings with him a wealth of experience and a lifetime of dedicated service to society. He is the Former Assistant General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India, Former Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, and Founder Director of CHILDLINE – a project of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Currently, he is the elected Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch Jammu, and Patron of the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu & Kashmir. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanitarian and social services, Dr. Gupta has been honored with the prestigious President of India Gold Medal for Social Service.
