India & Pakistan agree to ceasefire, says Foreign Secretary Misri | | 
New Delhi/Jammu, May 10 (Scoop News)- India and Pakistan have agreed to stop all firings and military action on land, air and sea with effect from 5 p.m. on Saturday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has announced today in Press brief. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has confirmed the implementation of a ceasefire under OperationSindoor. He said at 15:35 hrs today, the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan contacted his Indian counterpart, and both sides agreed to halt all military action—on land, in the air, and at sea—with effect from 17:00 hrs IST. Foreign Secretary said that orders have been issued on both sides to strictly enforce this agreement. The Foreign Secretary stated that this marks a significant step towards de-escalation and peace. The two DGMOs will reconvene for further talks on May 12 at 12:00 hrs IST.
