| SSP Kulgam chairs crime/security review meeting | |
Srinagar, October 29 (Scoop News)-SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS today chaired a crime/security review meeting at Conference Hall of DPO Kulgam. During the meeting, the status of under investigation cases related to ULAP(A), NDPS Act and crime against women & children were reviewed. Various security measures were discussed for ensuring peace and stability in the district.
Addressing the officers, SSP Kulgam said that the Investigation officers, SHOs and supervisory officers must take all the measures to improve investigation and disposal of cases. He directed that the quality of investigation and disposal of these cases needs improvement and stressed upon them to adopt the latest techniques and standard operating practices which would bring better results in investigation process. Moreover, officers were specifically directed to thoroughly examine the bail of assailants. SSP Kulgam further reiterated the importance of strengthening the counter insurgency and security grid of their respective jurisdictions to create peaceful and incident free atmosphere, besides officers were directed to take stringent actions against those involved in anti-social and anti-national activities.
The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Kulgam, Addl SP NHW Qazigund, CPO Kulgam, SDPO Qazigund, SDPO DH Pora, DySP Hqrs Kulgam, DySP DAR DPL Kulgam, DySP PC Kulgam, Hatipora, Manzgam and SHOs/IC PPs of district Kulgam.
