| Aijaz –A Gujjar from Poonch qualifies IAS | | 
Jammu, May 11 (Scoop News) – Mohammad Aijaz- a Gujjar hailing from a remote border village Dharna of Mehandhar Poonch has been selected for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) by the Union Public Service Commission, based on the Civil Services Examination 2011 the result of which was declared today.
Son of Ch Ghulam Nabi belongs to a tribal family was the first Gujjar from District Poonch who had been selected in IIT Delhi and secured more than 75% marks in B Tech.
Recently Aijaz was selected in KAS 2010 .He has remained a meritorious student throughout the career and got many awards at State and National level.
