| DC/DEO Kargil launches awareness videos related to ‘Know Your Candidate App’ | |
Kargil,April 26 (Scoop News)-As part of ongoing SVEEP activities for Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today launched awareness videos related to ‘Know Your Candidate App’ and SVEEP video for first time voters.
The DEO Kargil has appealed the first time voters of Kargil to participate in maximum numbers in the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 and vote on 20th May, 2024 asserting that each and every vote is important for keeping the democratic spirit high.
Pertinently, the Know Your Candidate (KYC) app is a mobile application developed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to help citizens know about candidates contesting elections.
The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms. To use the KYC app, voters need to select the election type and AC/PC name to view the list of the nomination or they can search the candidate by name.
The KYC app is a useful tool for citizens to make informed decisions about who to vote for. The app can also help to promote transparency and accountability in elections.
