| Police organises tour programme for students in Handwara | |
Srinagar, December 21 (Scoop News)-Police in Handwara organised a tour programme for students to border areas under the aegis of Civic Action Programme of J&K Police.
A group of students from GDC Handwara and BHSS Handwara today visited Nowgam sector accompanied by DySP DAR Handwara and other Police Officers of PD Handwara.
The programme aims to provide students a unique opportunity to understand the challenges faced by those living in these regions and foster a sense of patriotism and offers students a firsthand understanding of socio-economic & geopolitical context of border regions.
Visiting border areas allows students to witness the dedication and sacrifices made by those safeguarding the nation's borders. It aligns with the spirit of celebrating India's journey towards independence and imparts a deep sense of pride and duty among younger generations.
