Jammu, December 16 (Scoop News)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) works for the welfare of every person, irrespective of caste, creed or sex, region, religion or political affiliation. He said that the BJP guarantees to provide social and economic justice, equality of opportunity and liberty of faith and expression to all, said BJP senior leader and former MLA Ashwani Sharma.
Ashwani Sharma, accompanied by BJP Health & Medical Cell Convenor Puneet Mahajan, was listening to the problems of a large number of people and various deputations who had reached party office to seek intervention of the former MLA in getting their problems resolved.
Ashwani Sharma said that BJP, itself takes initiative to reach the common and the needy to know their issues and help them by sorting out their issues. He said that by holding the Public Darbar at the party headquarter, BJP has remained steadfast in its commitment to serve the society, while stressing that the needy people from all walks of life, irrespective of their faiths or affiliations, approach the party from every corner of Jammu & Kashmir. He added that BJP leaders listen to their issues patiently in these camps and make best efforts to sort their issues at the earliest.
Deputations and individuals belonged to Gajansoo Marh, Raipur Domana, Jourian, Bishnah, Phallain Mandal, Shiv Nagar, Wazir Lane, Shastri Nagar, Poonch, Shopian, Talab Tillo and other areas.
The deputation presented issues like enhancement of pension & implementation of reservation quota for specially-abled category persons, construction of road near Phallain Mandal, Waziro Chak, Bishnah and Nakkar Kot Poonch, revenue related, PDD, RTO office, State Health Agency etc.
Ashwani Sharma took up the public issues with the concerned departmental officials for their solutions. He made the telephonic and written communications for the same.
Puneet Mahajan, who steered the darbar proceedings, shared that while some persons and deputations approached with their personal issues, majority of them presented issues of general interest and the development related issues. He added that many issues were also related to the Ayushman cards in the darbar.
