| MP Hasnain Masoodi hands over school bus to Zaiba Aapa institute Bijbehara | |  Bijbehara, October 21 (Scoop News)-Under Member Parliament Local Area Development funds school bus was handed over to zaiba Aapa institute of inclusive education Bijbehara for mobility of children
Member Lok Sabha Justice Hasnain Masoodi (R) handed over school bus to Zaiba Aapa institute of inclusive education Bijbehara for mobility of children with disabilities. In a simple ceremony Husnain Masoodi handed over keys in presence of Ex MLA Abdul Majeed Larmi and Ex MLC Dr Bashir Ahmad Shah veeri.
Masoodi earlier visited the school and found around 150 children with different disabilities taking benifit of education, training and rehabilitation services from zaiba Aapa institute of inclusive education Bijbehara Kashmir. Thus demand of school bus was floated by the parents of children with Disabilities.
Hasnain Masoodi in his speech said the credibility of institution was checked and found genuine hence under MPLEAD 16.29 lakhs were sanctioned. The founder of Zaiba Aapa institute who himself is person with severe disability has been serving the disability sector and working hard to empower them thus it is duty of all to support the cause. I will always be at the Beck of call of the organisation and will take all steps to empower persons with Disabilities, Masoodi Added
Javed Ahmad Tak in his speech said disability sector needs rich guidance, hand holding best practices and polices. He requested Parliament member that issues related to skill and employment should be raised in the Parliament during sessions. He discusses a case story in which woman with disability having lost husband was summoned in police post who wrote to lieutenant Governors cell for sponsorship case of her daughter. Thus he appealed all the administrators should be highly sensitive while dealing with the cases of persons with disabilities and should take immediate steps to facilitate persons with disabilities instead of putting them in a trouble. Tak thanked Member of parliament for providing updated version of school bus for traveling of children with disabilities. He appealed MP for provision of a special stadium for improving sports activities for para athletes in Anantnag district.
