| Cleanliness drive held in Liker subdivision | | RDD Leh organises awareness-cum-sanitation prog in Spituk |  Leh,(Ladakh),April 04 (Scoop News)-A cleanliness drive was organised by the Rural Development Department, Leh in collaboration with the Health and School Education Department in the Liker subdivision.
Sarpanch Liker, other PRI members and Lumberdar; District Panchayat Officer Leh; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Liker and staff; Officials from the health department; Staff and students from Government High School Liker participated in the cleanliness drive.
Black spots around the Liker Spang area, along the national highway, were cleaned, and carried the collected waste to the nearby Solid Resource Management Centre (SRMC) for proper processing.

Rural Development Department, Leh organised an awareness programme regarding maintenance of sanitation/cleanliness at Spituk Halqa Panchayat today as per scheduled date, headed by Block Development Officer, Leh.
All the stakeholders such as PRI members, students and teachers of Government Schools of Spituk village participated in the event aimed to create awareness among the public regarding cleanliness.
