Sacrifices of Martyrs will be remembered till eternity: Kavinder

Jammu, January 17 (Scoop News)-The sacrifices of the martyrs will be remembered till eternity because it is the sacrifice of the soldiers of the nation that people are living a life free of fear.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta while addressing a gathering after unveiling 9 feet long statue of Amar Shaheed Sub Maj. Nain Singh Jamwal, Shaurya Chakra (Posthumous) at Park F/P4, Sector F, Sainik Colony, Jammu. He also inaugurated development work of Shaheed Nain Singh Jamwal Park with an estimated costs of Rs 57 lakh. Rajkumari, Veer Nari, wife of Martyr Shaheed Nain Singh; Rekha, daughter of Shaheed Nain Singh were also present on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta said that our young generation should not let the sacrifices of martyrs go unnoticed and should become a good and brave citizen to strengthen the foundations of the Nation.
Kavinder said that BJP has ensured that masses at grassroots level also enjoy the fruit of development like the elite class in cities and urban centers. He said that BJP has given equal opportunities to one and all to live a life full of amenities and without any kind of dearth.
It is pertinent to mention that Shaheed Nain Singh Jamwal attained martyrdom while fighting with terrorists in Rajouri in year 2000.
Kavinder who was chief guest on the occasion said that BJP has eliminated corruption, black money and other evils from the society making all round development possible without any extra efforts. He said that during the previous regimes, corruption was the main reason behind under development of J&K as various independent agencies revealed that erstwhile J&K was either number one or two in the pedestal of corruption hampering the development of the region. He said that BJP by simply stopping corruption has achieved all the development goals and that is the reason the J&K UT is touching the pinnacle of progress with new projects seeing the light of the day on a regular basis.
Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, in his address, said that this is one of the best park ever we have developed so far. This could become possible only with the sincere efforts by Sh. Narinder Singh, Corporator Ward No 70.
Col. Gurbaksh Singh (Retd), Convenor, BJP Ex-servicemen Cell J&K UT has shared with the audience about the life and martyrdom of Shaheed Sub. Maj. Nain Singh Jamwal. He said that Shaheed was born at village Panhar, Teh Rajouri and he joined 4 JAKLI in 1973. During the year 2000, his unit was in Rajouri sector and during an search operation and encounter in village Panjnar (Rajouri) he gunned down one terrorist but during the encounter Sub Maj Nain Singh Jamwal was seriously injured in the heavy firing by the terrorists. But before succumbing to his injuries he showed valour, courage and bravery, he killed another terrorist in a close fighting. He was decorated with gallantry award Shaurya Chakra (Posthumously) by the President of India.
JMC Commissioner Avny Lavasa; Corporator Narinder Singh Jamwal; Corporator Gurmeet Randhawa, Neeraj Puri, Corporator and President Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Vinay Gupta President BJP District Jammu and Ankush Gupta, General Secretary District Unit were also present.
