| 5 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh | | 1 patient cured and discharged |
Leh,(Ladakh), October 17(Scoop News)=As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 557 sample reports in UT Ladakh - Leh:418 and Kargil: 139 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged one patient yesterday and discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 46; 45 in Leh and 1 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1545 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 367 and 86 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
