Khah Writers Association organizes International Mother Language Day

Khari,February 22 (Scoop News)- An online event organized by the Khah Writers Association was held today in connection with the International Mother Language Day.

The ceremony was presided over by Maulana Ataullah while the convener was Dr Muhammad Muzamil.

In his reception, Dr. Muhammad Muzammil welcomed the guests and elaborated on the importance and usefulness of Khasha language. Explaining the historical background of Khasha language, he said that Khah language is the language of Khasha tribe which is mentioned in Hindus scriptures. In addition to it is also mentioned in history books.
Muhammad Akram Malik, a senior member of the Khaha Writers Association, presented a detailed overview on the mother tongue at the event, saying that language is a social thing that keeps the heartbeat of society in its bosom. He said that the Khasha tribe ruled over the region of Chenab which is mentioned in Rajatrangani and Neel Matpuran.

Referring to the mother tongue in the ceremony, Mohammad Rafiq Naik said that the life and death of language is associated with a particular social environment and social life. No language can be imagined apart from social life. Khah language is an ancient language. And it is being ignored in every age. Muhammad Idrees Naik, while shedding light on language and literature, said that in order to understand the law of language, it is very important to understand the history of the speakers of this language and the evolution of their consciousness. He further said that Vanshala Fort at Kharwan Neel is still telling the history of Khasha Nation. He entertained the audience with a ghazal of late Muhammad Hussain Naik which was appreciated by the audience.

At the function, Shakeel Rahi Sohalpuri expressed his views on the subject of mother tongue. He said that no language dies suddenly and no other language is born suddenly in its place. Special features of the language are the rules of this language and There are rules that have been published in book form. He added that there is a formal and authoritative history of the Khah language which has been ignored in every era. The Khasha rulers have ruled the region of Pir Panchal as well as the region of Chenab. Traces of which are still present in the form of forts and other things.
Maulana Ataullah Sahib, a founding member of the Khaha Writers Association, presented a special prose sketch on the mother tongue which was much appreciated. He reiterated the need to introduce Khah language and literature in the style of other languages up to primary level and to give special reservation to this language.
Other personalities who expressed their views on the importance and usefulness of mother tongue at the event included Bahar Ahmed Malik, Imtiaz Ahmed Naik, Aseer Shakeel, Mushaq Shoqeen, Zubair Naik, Muhammad Usman, Shahraz Rafiq, Abdul Waheed, Shabbir Sohil. , Sajjad Bohro, Mohammad Rafiq Naik, Farooq Naik and others
A short poetry recital was also organized during this time. Idris Naik, Aseer Shakeel, Akram Shagnavi, Zubair Naik and Shakeel Rahi Sohilpuri are among the poets who presented their poems in their mother tongue.

In addition to members of the Khah Writers' Association, poets, writers and other social workers were also present at the event.

Dr. Muhammad Muzamil Sahib directed the function while Muhammad Rafiq Sahib presented the vote of thanks.
