Roll Back SRO- 103

Sir

I would like to express my view for the enforcement of SRO-130 by Union Territory Of Jammu -Kashmir and Ladakh .This SRO-103 injured the sentiments of highly qualified unemployed youth across the Union Territories. This SRO unjustifiably reduced the age bar for Civil Servants by 5 years.I think this rule is arbitrary in nature .This SRO not only impede the participation of those KAS Aspirants who have crossed the age limit of 32 but also add to the rising levels of of frustration among unemployed youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Being a three times dropper in KAS selection list I think it will be a sheer injustice with those aspirants who for the past 5 years have used their die hard efforts day and night to appear in the upcoming KAS-2021 Exam. The applicability of this rule come as a bolt out of the blue for the Civil Services Aspirants through out the length and breadth of J&K.I think it is quite exasperating for our qualified unemployed youth who want to pursue their careers in the civil services The youth have already facing the tide of unemployment and now this move will make the situation further gloomy. Not only youth but all the people of the Union Territory Jammu-Kashmir facing many hardship since August 5,2019 when Govt of India put ban on Internet services and than reduced speed of Internet from 4G to 2G.I think there is no reason to reduce the age limit of civil services aspirants to 32 when the upper age limit in rest of the states in India even exceeded age limit to 38 and even 40 years.Last but not least I requested to Govt of India and Jammu -Kashmir to roll back this new amendment and provide a respite to the resenting KAS Aspirants who currently are in a state of extreme distress. Finally I particularly requested to the Lt.Governor of Union Territory Of Jammu-Kashmir to address the genuine grievances of Civil Services Aspirants of Jammu and Kashmir by repealling the SRO-103.So that Jammu-Kashmir youth excel in all fields especially in the civil services provided they are given a level playing field and encouragement. The soil of Jammu-Kashmir already given birth to IAS Topper in India. There is immense need of hour to encourage J&K unemployed youth at a time when even highly qualified unemployed youth diverted their minds from main human stream.
