LAHDC Kargil Bids Farewell to CPO Abdul Hadi on Promotion as Joint Director PM&MD

Kargil, January 15 (Scoop News)-The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil organised a farewell function in honour of the promotion and transfer of the Chief Planning Officer, Kargil, Mr. Abdul Hadi who has been appointed as Joint Director, Planning, Monitoring & Development (PM&MD), Union Territory of Ladakh.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, commended the outgoing officer for his sincere and dedicated service to the district. The CEC said that the officer discharged his responsibilities with professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of commitment towards public welfare. He noted that the officer always remained accessible to public representatives and officials alike and played a key role in ensuring coordination between elected members and the administration.

The CEC further stated that the outgoing Planning Officer possessed a clear and forward-looking vision for development and made consistent efforts to align district planning with the aspirations of the people. He added that his proactive approach, problem-solving attitude, and ability to work as part of a team greatly strengthened the planning framework and helped in timely execution of development works. Expressing confidence in his abilities, the CEC said that the officer would bring the same dedication and competence to his new role at the UT level.

On the occasion, the outgoing Planning Officer thanked LAHDC Kargil for organising the farewell and honouring him. He said that during his tenure he made sincere efforts to build a strong and cordial working relationship between LAHDC Kargil and the district administration. He further assured that in his new role at the UT level, he would continue to work for the betterment of Kargil to the best of his ability and at every platform available to him.

Executive Councillor, Kacho Mohd Feroz; Executive Councillor Aga Syed Mujtaba; Councillor Abdul Wahid; Councillor Sajjad Hussain, and the Chief Controller Finance (CCF) also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the dedication, cooperative nature, and valuable contributions of the outgoing officer.

The function was attended by councillors of LAHDC Kargil, senior officers, and other officials, who extended their best wishes to the officer for success in his new assignment and future endeavours.
