Jammu, January 11 (Scoop News)-The Tourism Department, Jammu, honoured the Chamber of Tourism Trade and Industry Katra (CTTIK) during the vibrant Lohri Festival organised by the Tourism Department in association with the Jammu District Administration at Mubharikh Mandi, Jammu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and celebrated Jammu’s rich cultural heritage alongside its growing tourism potential.
The function was graced by Sh. Sat Pal Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and president of J&K BJP as the chief guest while Sh. Yudhveer Sethi, M attended as the guest of honou. The programme was held in the august presence of Sh. Vikas Guptd director Tourism Jammu and Sh. Aijaz Qaiser joint director Tourism Jammu.
The award of appreciation was presented to Raj Kumar Padha, president CTTIK and was received by him along with Atul Sharma secretary CTTIK . The honour was conferred in recognition of CTTIK’s consistent commitment, support, valuable contribution, and significant role in the promotion and strengthening of Jammu tourism over the years.
Several senior tourism officials were present on the occasion, including deputy directors Ms. Savita and Sh. Pankaj Sasan ,assistant director Tourism Katra Sh. Rajesh Raina and officers Joginder Kumar, Yash Kumar among others.
Prominent tourism stakeholders also marked their presence, including Amrik Singh president JATO, Pawan Gupta president AJHLA , Darshan Singh and representatives of various other trade and tourism associations, reflecting the collective spirit of collaboration within the sector.
The Lohri celebration drew a large gathering of people from all walks of life who witnessed the cultural performances and festivities making the event a grand success and reinforcing Jammu’s image as a vibran
