Jammu,January 05 (Scoop News)- Sat Sharma CA, President, J&K BJP and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), along with BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, presided over an organizational meeting of the Kathua district at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The meeting was attended by J&K BJP Vice-President and Prabhari District Kathua Priya Sethi, BJP General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, General Secretary Gopal Mahajan, District President Kathua Updesh Andotra, and other senior leaders, elected representatives, and office bearers from the Kathua district.
The interaction was organized with a clear focus on strengthening the party’s grassroots framework and ensuring a dynamic, two-way bridge between the organization, its workers, and the general public. Detailed deliberations were held on booth-level activation, mandal efficiency, and structured public outreach to make the party more responsive to the aspirations of the people.
While addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma stressed that the BJP’s strength lies in its disciplined cadre and strong grassroots connect, which distinguishes it from other political parties. He stated that the BJP believes in politics of performance and accountability, not in empty slogans or misleading promises. He urged party workers to act as effective links between the government and the people, ensuring that the welfare schemes and developmental initiatives launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reach the last person standing in the queue. He further remarked that while opposition parties thrive on confusion and negativity, the BJP continues to deliver development, stability, and transparent governance.
Sat Sharma reiterated that the BJP remains firmly committed to addressing issues related to infrastructure, public security, education, employment, and holistic regional development. He called upon leaders to strengthen regular public interaction so that people’s genuine concerns are brought to the forefront and resolved in a time-bound manner, while simultaneously countering false narratives and politically motivated misinformation being spread by opposition forces.
Ashok Koul reviewed the organizational work carried out in recent months and held detailed discussions on upcoming party programmes in the district. He emphasized strict organizational discipline, seamless coordination among party morchas and departments, and timely implementation of responsibilities assigned at various levels. He also asked the party leaders to further reinforce the BJP’s organizational network at the grassroots level and strengthen the party’s bond with the people through dedicated service and continuous engagement.
