Jammu,December 29 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP President and MP (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma, and General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, along with General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Gopal Mahajan, addressed an introductory meeting of the newly nominated team members of ST Morcha, J&K BJP, at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
ST Morcha President Choudhary Abdul Ghani alongside Morcha office bearers, executive members, and district presidents from across Jammu & Kashmir participated in the meeting.
The meeting aimed at formally introducing the new team, outlining organizational responsibilities, and setting priorities for strengthening the ST Morcha at all levels.
Addressing the Morcha functionaries, Sat Sharma congratulated the newly nominated members and emphasized the crucial role of Morchas in the BJP’s organizational structure. He said that Morchas act as a strong bridge between the party and society, ensuring that the vision of the BJP reaches every section of the population. Highlighting the importance of the ST Morcha, Sat Sharma said that the tribal communities have a special place in the party’s inclusive ideology and development agenda. He urged the Morcha leaders to work with full dedication to strengthen both the ST Morcha and the BJP, and to reach out to community members in every part of Jammu & Kashmir. Our aim is to work for the nation and society, while sincerely raising and addressing the genuine issues faced by the ST community in a constructive manner, he said, adding that the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently focused on empowerment, welfare, and dignity of tribal communities.
Ashok Koul, in his address, stressed the need to complete the formation of various teams of the ST Morcha across Jammu & Kashmir at the earliest. He underlined the importance of organizational discipline, structured working, and regular outreach programmes. He said that Morcha activists must effectively communicate the BJP’s programmes and policies among the masses, especially those aimed at socio-economic upliftment, education, health, and self-employment for tribal communities. He also called for coordination between the Morcha and the main party structure to ensure impactful implementation of activities.
Choudhary Abdul Ghani thanked the senior leadership for their guidance and expressed confidence that the new team would work tirelessly to strengthen the Morcha. He said that the ST Morcha would actively highlight community issues, promote awareness about government welfare schemes, and contribute to nation-building under the leadership of the BJP.
