Leh, December 14 (Scoop News)- The District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Leh, successfully concluded a transformative 3-Day Workshop on Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning today. The programme, conducted with the addition of Mr. Nishant Payal, Programme Manager Piramal Foundation who had joined as the Resource person from day 2 of the programme, including Mr. Dorjay Wangchuk, Sr. Lecturer DIET & Ms. Tsering Angmo Lecturer, DIET. During the sessions all the experts provided deep insights into the practical implementation of SEE Learning principles within the educational ecosystem.
The final day focused on operationalizing the SEE Learning framework. A dedicated session was held with Block Resource Coordinators (BRCs) and Cluster Resource Coordinators (CRCs) to deliberate on their specific roles and responsibilities in cascading the training and embedding SEE Learning practices in schools across the district. To aid this crucial dissemination phase, all coordinators were provided with comprehensive reference booklets as well.
The closing ceremony was a moment of recognition, with all 45 participants being facilitated with Certificates of Completion. The Heads of Departments (HoDs) at DIET Leh delivered the concluding remarks, expressing their sincere appreciation for the successful execution of the workshop. They commended the commitment of the participants, stating that this initiative marks a significant step towards fostering more compassionate, empathetic, and ethically grounded learning environments throughout Leh. |
